This first Valentina Povarova's retrospective exhibition in the Russian Museum introduces the Petersburg artist's oeuvre. Valentina Povarova belongs to the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th c. She is an artist and philosopher, an artist and analyst who creates her own picture of the world. The exhibition includes 35 works of painting and graphics made in the 1970s - 2004. Valentina Povarova's works were shown in the Russian Museum before - as a part of "Abstraction in Russia. The 20th century" exhibition.
