The book contains monographic essays on such artists as El Lissizky, Vera Yermolaeva, Nikolai Suetin, Ilya Chashnik, Lazar Khidekel, Lev Yudin and Anna Leporskaya, articles on the history of UNOVIS and the Institute of Artistic Culture and archive documents, letters and memoirs, many of them published here for the first time.
