This is the first ever publication in Russia presenting the oeuvre of a French artist Ladislas Kijno.
It comprises excerpts from opinion of various people on the oeuvre of the master: curators and directors of museums, holding Ladislas Kijno´s exhibitions, art critics, art historians, artists, poets, writers, philosophers, scientists, editors of magazines, producers, composers, journalists and the artist himself. They were published in the monograph on Ladislas Kijno by Raoul-Jean Moulin in 1994 (Cercle d publishing house). The book includes a fragment of the catalogue of Ladislas Kijno´s retrospective in the Palace of Fine Arts (Lille, 2002), album of illustrations and short biography of the artist. These excerpts and fragments give a comprehensive characteristic of the artist´s creative quests.
The article section reproduces Ladislas Kijno´s works of 1956-2005, the album section reproduces Variations of the Bronze Sculptures by Riace two series of works of 1981-82. The book is supplemented with photographs from the family and his friends´ archives.
