The monograph is dedicated to the oeuvre of Oscar Rabine, one of the leading representatives of the nonconformist art movement of the 1960s v 1980s in the Soviet Union. The publication includes 3 articles by the well-known Russian and foreign authors, album of illustrations with brief catalogue information and the biography. The articles describe all periods of Rabine's oeuvre with the detail analysis of the themes of his artworks and his special attention to the ordinary subjects. The album section presents the artworks of 1957 v 2007 from the largest foreign museums of Europe, USA, Japan and the private collections. Most of artworks are insufficiently known or unknown to Russian viewers. It is supplemented with the list of one-man and group exhibitions and the list of the museum funds presenting the master's works. The publication was financed by Iveta and Tamaz Manasherov.
