The publication introduces the creative oeuvre of Vladimir Yankilevsky, classic of Nonconformism art of the 1960s. It includes monographic article dedicated to the creative oeuvre of the artist for over 40 years, the interview of the German art historian V. Schlott with the author, the album of illustrations with catalogue data, the brief biography, the list of selected exhibitions and the bibliography. The publication includes paintings, graphic arts, reliefs, objects made by Yankilevsky from 1958 to 2007. Most of the reproduced artworks from the Russian and the foreign museums as well as the private collections were published for the first time in Russia. It is supplemented with the photographs of Yankilevsky's art studios in Moscow, Cologne, Paris. The publication was financed by the Ekaterina Cultural Foundation and the Group of Companies «Stroyteks».
