October 15 the exhibition “Family portrait” opens at the Murmansk Municipal Art Museum. The exhibition comprises around 50 artworks from the collection of the Russian Museum among which are paintings, drawings and examples of applied art by such prominent masters as V. Borovikovsky, I. Khrutsky, F. Tolstoy, B. Kustodiev, K. Petrov-Vodkin, P. Filonov, D. Zhilinsky, V. Popkov. The visitors will be acquainted with the development of the family portrait genre in the Russian art through the ages. The works will be on display till December 11.
