On September 8, 2017, the exhibition “Red: Painting, Folk Art, and Decorative and Applied Art from the collection of the Russian Museum” will open at the Murmansk Regional Art Museum. The display will consist of 77 artworks from the 17th through the 21st centuries, including works by Аlexei Venetsianov, Konstantin Korovin, Arkhip Kuindzhi, Konstantin Makovsky, Nikolai Ge, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Boris Kustodiev, Robert Falk, and David Burlyuk.

The exhibition is timed to coincide with the opening of the Cultural and Exhibition Center of the Russian Museum at the Murmansk Regional Art Museum.

The exhibition will be open to the public from September 9 until November 26, 2017.

Over 70 masterpieces from the State Russian Museum on display at Bologna Museum of Modern Art. The artworks show the developing styles and the dynamics of development of such artists as Natalia Goncharova, Kazimir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Ilya Repin, Valentin Serov and Alexandr Rodchenko among the others.

The exhibition at the Belgorod Art Museum provides an insight into the development of the family portrait genre in Russian art through the ages: from couple portraits by V. L. Borovikovsky, sentimental family scenes by G. Dawe, F. G. Toropov, and N. N. Ge, to optimistic paintings of the Soviet era by V. I. Ivanov, A. A. Mylnikov, and K. S. Petrov-Vodkin.
