On September 14, 2017, the exhibition “Russian Painting of the late 19th and early 20th centuries” will open at the Cultural and Exhibition Center of the Russian Museum in Kazan. The display will consist of 55 paintings from the collection of the Russian Museum. The exhibition encompasses major trends in Russian art of the late 19th and early 20th centuries represented by portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes by such prominent masters as Valentin Serov, Alexander Benois, Igor Grabar, Ilya Repin, Lev Bakst, Victor Borisov-Musatov, Olga Ostroumova-Lebedeva, and others.

The exhibition will be on display until January 21, 2018.
