April 1 the exhibition “Thread connecting ages” from the collection of the Russian Museum opened in the Kursk Deineka Picture Gallery. It comprises 65 paintings and 7 pieces of decorative and applied art; among the artists presented are such prominent masters as A. Venetsianov, V. Tropinin, I. Kramskoy, I. Levitan, I. Repin, B. Kustodiev, Z. Serebryakova and others. The exhibition will be open until May 22.
