Opening of the new exhibitions in Malaga branch

On February 10 three new exhibitions has opened in Malaga branch of the Russian Museum.

Radiant Future. Art of Socialist Realism 10 february 2018—21 january 2019
The exhibition, encompassing topics from industrialization and agriculture to sport and youth, includes over 100 works of painting, sculpture, and decorative and applied art from the collection of the Russian Museum and features artworks by such artists as S. Adlivankin, I. Brodsky, A. Gerasimov, A. Deineka, P. Konchalovsky, Yu. Pimenov, A. Samokhvalov, and K. Yuon.

The Traveller’s Gaze: Russian Artists around the World 10 february—26 august 2018
Travel impressions of Russian artists of the 18th-20th centuries who visited Italy, France, Egypt, Palestine, Japan, China, Morocco, and the USA, represented in paintings, drawings, and sculptures from the collection of the Russian Museum.

Mikhail Shvartsman 10 february—26 august 2018
Mikhail Shvartsman was a legendary figure for several generations of Russians: his deeply individual interpretation of the world, the mesmerizing force and depth of his thought and the absolute novelty of his visual language aroused unconditional respect. The exhibition includes 13 works created by Shvatsman between the 1970s and the 1990s.
