The exhibition presents the state payment signs of Russia (coins and paper money) belonging to the period from the time of Peter I to 1917. The exposition includes all major types of Russian cents and rubles of that period (till 1915 when the last imperial rubles were released).
All materials are be added with various painting, graphic and sculptural works which are related to the subject of exhibition (the portraits of the reformers of monetary system, images of banks, genre scenes, etc.) The exposition includes more than 170 coins, 50-80 paper payment signs, around 15 portraits and also different archival photos).
Also the exhibition includes a multimedia program dedicated to the history of coinage in Russia.

The main goal of the exhibition is to present the local features of patchwork in numerous centers of folk art in Russia and to show the original creative style of individual masters of the 20th century. The exhibition introduces the viewer to the truly folk patchwork, which was developed not in creative units and clubs, but in the villages and small towns of Russia.

The Biennale of Historical and Archival Photography once again presents inaccessible photo collections of regional museums. The exhibition will show 144 photographs from museums in Voronezh, Ivangorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Rybinsk, Ryazan, Simferopol, Omsk, Pskov, Uglich, Yakutsk. The exposition is structured as a consistent story about the cultural, everyday and political life of Russia in the 1870s - 1930s.
