ALEKSANDR BOGOMAZOV

22 may 2008—21 july 2008

About 30 paintings and 40 graphic works from the collection of the Russian Museum and private collections of Moscow, Kiev, London and New-York are presented on the exhibition.

From the 1980s the artist’s paintings were shown on numerous exhibitions dedicated to the Russian art of the 1910s and the 1920s. But his name was pushed into the background of the Russian avant-garde leaders.

For the first time the Aleksander Bogomazov exhibition presents his creative oeuvre to the Russian viewers.
