At the exhibition there are presented more than 60 paintings, graphicworks and works of decorative and applied arts of the XVII — XX centuries from the collection of the Russian museum and historical beer bottles and ceramic corks from the collection of the Baltika Breweries. Many centuries beer was the model, the source of topics, the prototype of colour and form for the Russian painters. Beer utensils were manufactured in Russia as the work of art: it had to be pleasant to the eye, handy and beautiful. Such kind of dippers and winebowls from the collection of the Russian museum are presented at the exhibition.
Especially for this exposition Baltika Breweries gave the collection of works of the decorative and applied arts from the end of the XIX — beginning of the XX century. It includes the unique collection of the old beer bottles, utensils of the antique brewers and one of the largest Russian collections of the ceramic beer hutter-corks, that were manufactured in Germany more than 100 years ago and is of a great artistic value.

The exhibition is dedicated to a hundred-year-old tradition of producing decorative “military plates” depicting imperial army uniforms. Besides plates, the exhibition includes drawings and lithographs that served as sources or preliminary studies for paintings by such famous artists of the “uniform” genre.
