NIKOLAI IONIN

The Russian Museum presents the one-man exhibition of Nikolai Ionin, a Leningrad artist of the second half of 20^th century. Having adopted the traditions of the Leningrad Art School of the 1920s, Nikolai Ionin, a pupil of Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, also experienced the influence of the members of such well-known art unions as Society of Artists, Community of Artists and Circle of Artists. The exposition contains Nikolai Ionin's paintings and graphic works from the collection of the Russian Museum and from the collection of the artist's family, who owns the major part of his pictorial heritage.

Konstantin Bogayevsky

This exhibition celebrates 150 years since the birth of Konstantin Fyodorovich Bogayevsky (1872–1943), one of the most prominent artists of Russia’s Silver Age. A pupil of Ivan Aivazovsky, Ivan Shishkin and Arkhip Kuindzhi, Bogayevsky graduated from the Imperial Academy of Arts in 1897, commencing his career at a crucial juncture in the history of Russian art.

Leonid Kolibaba. Sculpture and Drawings

This exhibition will acquaint visitors with the work of Leonid Kolibaba, a renowned St. Petersburg-based sculptor, graphic artist and educator, and member of the Ozerki Artists’ Village informal art group.
