On the exhibition from the series “Winners of the First Photobiennale of the Russian Museum” there are presented the works by Tatiana Zubkova – the photographer of the Ballet Theatre of Yury Grigorovich, Music and Youth theatres of the “Premiere” Art Association and Krasnodar Academic Drama Theatre. In the photographs completing the following series: “Hozdvor (Household Yard)”, “Life is a Shapito”, “The End of a Season” and the “Possibilities of Abstraction” the neglected half-destructed sculptures, everyday life of the ranging circus artists, empty Black Sea beaches, mysterious and magnetic world of theatre are presented. The main content of Tatiana Zubkova’s art is a desire to catch and understand the escaping emotions in the moment that was stopped by the camera’s objective.

The special exhibition section is devoted to the works by photographers whose art was commended by the special prizes from partners of the Photobiennale (P. Kuznetzov, E. Mulina, R. Muhametzjanov, A. Petrosyan, M. Chul’, S. Shmakova) and the participants of the competition, who became the winners on the results of viewer’s voting (K. Zilberburg, G. Ivanov, D. Kaminsky, S.Kogan, A. Krasotkin, I.Pyatinin, D. Sanin, A. Semenov, N. Uljanova, A.Fadeeva).

The exhibition is accompanied by the catalogue “Winners of the First Photobiennale” in Russian and English.

Besides plates, the exhibition includes drawings and lithographs that served as sources or preliminary studies for paintings by such famous artists of the “uniform” genre.
