«The Palaces and Parks of the Russian Museum» Tour introduces to the history of palaces and gardens and contains additional information about historical buildings located in the route of tourists. Languages: English, Russian, Italian.

«The State Russian Museum. The Mikhailovsky Palace» Audioguide presents the works from the main exhibition, tells about the history of Russian art from the 12th until the end of the 20th century. For a branch of the museum in the city of Malaga (Spain) the audioguides for mobile applications for temporary exhibitions have been produced.

«Russian Art of the 15^th -20^th centuries» Audioguide» introduces the brilliant masterpieces of the Russian Museum: from icons to Soviet art, showing the diversity of Russian art in its continuous development. Languages: Russian, Spanish.

The mobile app presents the oldest St. Petersburg park, which has been part of the Russian Museum since 2003. The Summer Garden is the favourite brainchild of Peter the Great.It was created at the beginning of the 18th century following the traditions of the best examples of European Parks and Gardens. Sculptures on mythological subjects, created by Italian masters are the real decoration of the Garden.

The app with an interactive map enables the user to get information about the main historical sites of the Garden ‒ the Summer Palace of Peter the Great, pavilions, fountains, bosquets and sculptural groups. The official app of the Russian Museum is available in English and French.

The application «The Russian Museum. Chernetsov. Parade» is dedicated to the most famous picture of Russian artist Gregory Chernetsov «Parade Celebrating the End of Military Action in the Kingdom of Poland on Tsaritsa Meadow in St Petersburg on 6 October 1831» (1837).

This picture is a unique group portrait of the first half of the 19th century. In addition to representatives of various kinds of troops of Emperor Nicholas I and his retinue it illustrated more than 200 characters - contemporaries of Alexander Pushkin, including famous artists and architects, writers, actors, representatives of the scientific community, merchants and even peasants.

The application  enables the user to get information about any of the characters which shown in the picture, as well as get acquainted with the objects surrounding Tsaritsa Meadow (now Champ de Mars) that now belong to the complex of the Russian Museum . Among them are the Summer Garden and the Mikhailovsky Garden, St Michael’s Castle and the Mikhailovsky Palace. The program enables the user to get additional information in the form of text and audio.

Mobile application «Tsar-Tsarevich» is available in Russian and English languages. It is entertaining and educational game designed for players over the age of  6. Several paintings tell the viewer about the family of the Russian tsars from the Romanov dynasty.

The game enables to explore details of paintings such as toys and costumes of young heirs to the throne or coronation regalia of Russian Tsars. The game features adventures in the museum’s rooms according to some subject. There is a possibility to talk about  family and government affairs of the Russian Tsars as well as to digress for musical tasks or search of unique fragments of a museum object.

The State Russian Museum features the fifth game from the “Children of the Same Age” series called “the Treasures of the Castle”. Its main difference from the traditional adventure games is the fact that it originated from the real St. Petersburg environment of St. Michael’s Castle. The old paintings and the interiors, reconstructed by restorers, enable the players to learn about both tragic and romantic events from Paul’s life and his family. The game not only lets the players get acquainted with the history of the reigning dynasty of Romanovs, but is also a kind of guide to the world of city mysticism during those times when St. Michael’s Castle was the centre of the empire. Adventures and puzzles await you in the halls and labyrinths of the castle, accompanied by the chilling sighs of the mysterious inhabitants. The game is created with the support of the Charitable Foundation “Sistema”.

«The Russian Museum. Augmented Reality» (rmgallery.ru) is a new website for mobile devices. It is enough to scan a QR-code near the work of art in the museum through scanner on mobile device and you immediately get additional information (annotations and audio). If you are not at the museum exhibition you are able to visit the website rmgallery.ru, enter the section «Gallery» and get access to the same information.

The site has an alphabetical catalogue of the works of artists, as well as an index of works of art according to art forms and genres. QR-codes for independent projects implemented in the museum are planned to place in the section «Projects». Now there are codes dedicated to participants of the festival «The Imperial Gardens». A separate section contains a summary of the museum complex, contacts, office hours and an interactive map showing the sites of the Russian Museum.

The mobile site created in Russian and English languages is available to users of all mobile devices with access to the Internet.
