Format: 24 x 22.5 cm; English
This publication acquaints with the oeuvre of Mark Rozov, painter and photographer. It contains articles on the topic of the publication and an album. The artist aims to show the paradoxical character of the Soviet epoch of the 1930s-80s by means of photography. It was the epoch when the people's dreams about the bright future, expressed in the elements of the metal decor of the Achievements in the National Economy exhibition and other Moscow buildings, reproduced in parallel with photos of steel makers and industrial landscapes, stress the inconsistency between the far-fetched plans and the real life.
The catalogue is supplemented with the biography of the artists.
