Opening of the exhibition “Karl Brullov”
The exhibition presents works of Karl Brullov from the collection of the Russian Museum, among which are such masterpieces as “Self-portrait”, “Italian girl picking grapes”, sketches to “The last day of Pompeii” and other works. The exhibition comprises 20 paintings and 30 watercolors.
The exhibition marks the opening of the Cultural and exhibition centre of The Russian Museum in Kazan.

A wide panorama of the city's surroundings offers a rare opportunity to see what the buildings and parks of Tsarskoye Selo and Pavlovsk, now partially missing their original appearance, used to look like in the 19th century.
