On July 27, in the White Hall of the Marble Palace, as part of the Musical Thursdays project, you will find the concert Musical Adventures. Performed by the Akme Quartet and soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Viktor KorotichFamous works of folk, classical and modern genres will be performed for guests in unique arrangements of the band. The program will include compositions by Mozart, Glinka, Sviridov, folk songs, etc.
The Akme Quartet is a tandem of talented Petersburg musicians who play Russian folk instruments:
balalaika - Ilya Sitkin,
domra - Olga Pilitsyna,
button accordion - Anton Stachev,
double bass balalaika - Evgeny Redkin.
Soloist - Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Laureate of the Prize of the Government of St. Petersburg in the field of culture and art, Laureate of the National Opera Prize "Onegin" and the Highest Theater Prize of St. Petersburg "Golden Soffit", soloist of the Mariinsky Theater - Viktor Korotich.
The concert starts at 7.00 p.m.
