Eastern Sunflowers
A personal exhibition of works by Chinese artist Xu Jiang presents a contemporary approach to nature studies and landscape painting. His expressive, sometimes almost to the point of abstraction, canvases reflect the spiritual and intellectual pursuits of the artist in the era of consumerism and digitalization.
Xu Jiang was born in Fujian in 1955. Artist, curator, critic, and educator, he is also Director of China Academy of Arts in Hangzhou.

The exhibition From Orest Kiprensky to Pavel Fedotov, introduces viewers to some of the finest early 19th-century drawings and watercolours from the museum’s holdings.
