The Imperial Gardens of Russia. IX International Festival

Dear guests, we are glad to invite you to visit "The Imperial Gardens of Russia" IXth International Festival which will take place in the Mikhailovsky Garden from 10 to 21 june 2016

The Imperial Gardens of Russia Festival was organised with the purpose to promote historical Russian gardens and modern trends of international landscape design. With the aim of popularization both historical parks of Russian Museum and modern trends of landscape design among general public.

Now the Festival has become the annual significant event attracting about 100 000 visitors. It lasts 10 day in early June during the period of White Nights. The Festival became renowned abroad and all over Russia. Among the participants of 2016 are Great Britain, Germany, Finland, France, Denmark, Spain. At all are 50 landscaping projects.

Projects are implemented with the support of Málaga branch, British Consulate in St. Petersburg, French Cultural Institute, Danish Cultural Institute.

The 2016 exhibition and festival is named "Flowers of Life" and dedicated to the diverse, fascinating and colorful world of childhood.

Ten days of cultural and media program of Festival will be devoted to charities of St. Petersburg which will present their work on the various socially unprotected population (children and adults with cancer, autistic children, people caught in difficult life situations.
