The exhibition dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of the first Russian Emperor Peter the Great will feature works by B.M. Kustodiev and M.V. Dobuzhinsky, connected with the decoration of the Great City College House named after Peter the Great in St. Petersburg (1910-1911).
The exposition will include works from the collection of the Russian Museum and the KGallery: the panel "Peter the Great" (1911), a study for the panel "Peter the Great" (1910) and the drawing "The Genius of Victory. Head of Peter the Great” (1910) by B.M. Kustodiev, as well as sketches for the panel “Peter the Great in Holland” (1910) by M.V. Dobuzhinsky.
The exhibition is held in the Garden Vestibule of the Mikhailovsky Palace.

The exhibition shows engravings and lithographs from the collection of the Russian Museum devoted to the suburbs of St Petersburg. A wide panorama of the city's surroundings offers a rare opportunity to see what the buildings and parks of Tsarskoye Selo and Pavlovsk, now partially missing their original appearance, used to look like in the 19th century.
