Dear guests, exposition of Ivan Aivazovsky is closed from July to December 2016 due to participation of paintings from this collection in the exhibition in the State Tretyakov Gallery.

In a period of an absence of the artist's works in the Hall 14 of the Mikhailovsky Palace visitors of the Russian museum have a unique opportunity to see magnificent sketches of murals of St. Isaac's Cathedral executed in 1843 - 1848 by Karl Brullov and religious painting by master.

Thank you for your understanding and we are glad to invite you to an opening of the remarkable exhibition of Ivan Aivazovsky in the Benois Wing of the Russian Museum on December 2016.
