On June 16 at 7 p.m. the MolOt ensemble of St. Petersburg will perform on the Xth Imperial Gardens of Russia Festival.

MolOt ensemble of St. Petersburg was founded in March 2012 as an ensemble of the Youth Department of the Composers Union of Russia. The priority and specialization of the ensemble is the performance of late 20th-21st century music, and also the works of young Russian composers. During the course of its activity the ensemble participated in such festivals as ‘From avantgarde to present days’, ‘Sound ways’, ‘Fin de siecle’, ‘World of sound: Mircotonal innovations’ and premiered over 50 works by Russian and foreign composers in St. Petersburg. MolOt ensemble also took part in masterclasses of new music by Ensemble Recherche during the festival ‘Square of arts’. The ensemble performed at many prestigious venues such as the Chamber hall of M. Glinka St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Chamber hall of A. Glazunov St. Petersburg Conservatory, the Concert hall of the Composers’ House etc. The ensemble is one of the founding formations of International MolOt Festival.


The entrance to the concert is with the tickets to the festival.
The cost of the tickets range from 50 to 600 rubles, depending on the category.
