On 19 of March 2016 the first cultural and exhibition centre of theRussian Museum in Russia is opened in the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan. The cultural and exhibition centre started its work with the exhibition "Karl Brullov" from the collection of the Russian Museum.
