From Baroque to Rock

On November 9, in the Ballroom of the Stroganov Palace, as part of the “Musical Thursdays” project, a concert of the famous St. Petersburg group “Pushkin Quartet” will take place with the program “From Baroque to Rock.”

Viewers will enjoy a fascinating journey into the world of music of different eras and styles, from Antonio Vivaldi to the Queen group. The program will feature works by I. Khandoshkin, V.A. Mozart, J. Strauss, the soundtrack to the cartoon “Spirited Away” and hits of Russian and foreign rock music.

“Pushkin Quartet” is a string ensemble created by graduates of the St. Petersburg Conservatory in 2013, laureate of an international competition, participant of festivals: named after. David Oistrakh, “Northern Counterpoint”, “String Quartets of Carl Nielsen and Dmitry Shostakovich”, etc., regularly performs solo concerts in the best halls of St. Petersburg.
