On April 11 Birds Day - a traditional festival of the Russian Museum for children from correctional and educational schools of St. Petersburg took place in the Summer garden.
The cheerful and informative festival has begun with acquaintance with birds of the Summer garden. Children have heard how titmouses, starlings, flycatchers, slavka and sparrows sing, they learned how to distinguish their voices, also they guessed riddles and performed fascinating tasks. The ornithologist has told about production of birdhouses, and the climber-arborist has fixed ready-made birdhouse on a tree.
Birds Day was organised with the participation of GKU "Directorates of especially protected natural territories of SPb".
