The publication acquaints with the works by Rudolf Frents from the funds of the Russian Museum.
It includes an article on the oeuvre of the artist and his work in the Petrograd Decorative Institute as well as a catalogue of paintings, graphic works and works of applied art of the 1920s-30s and list of exhibitions presenting these works. The album section reproduces paintings, trays, an only preserved project of a poster and numerous graphic works by Rudolf Frents. The attributive works by the master are published for the first time.
The publication is supplemented with archival materials, including autobiography, report on agitational poster and photographs given by the artist's family.
