May 21. Museum Night in the Marble Palace

21 may 2016—21 may 2016

Dear guests, on May 21 (Saturday) Museum Night will pass in Saint Petersburg. The Russian museum invites you to take part in our programme in the Marble palace from 6 to 11 p.m.!

Marble palace is a unique heritage asset of Russia of the second half of the XVIII century. Along with Winter palace it is one of the main places of interest on the panorama of the Neva River embankment. This building is a rare example of early classical style in Saint-Petersburg. Moreover, the palace décor is a unique illustration of natural stone design: the outer facades of Marble palace are its main value as their authentic appearance has mostly survived.

The Museum Night programme in the Russian museum includes:

  • visiting a unique interiors of the Marble palace and temporary exhibitions (Robert Indiana);
  • visiting  the Ludwig Museum at the Russian Museum - excellent collection of Western European and American art of the second half of the XX-th century;
  • special quest to the Marble palace (only in Russian language).

Tickets: - 300 rubles for adult visitors; - 150 rubles for students; school children (regardless of nationality) - free.
