Moneyboxes Project

19 april 2001—20 april 2001
The authors of the project are Bagrat Arazian and Armen Igitkhanian. Their installation combines the works of ten contemporary Moscow artists. Each artist created a moneybox object based on a particular archetype. Sergei Shikhachevsky helped to convert each work into ten ceramic casts, painted by several artists who have never worked together before. The result is an interesting symbiosis of ten moneyboxes - original metaphors reflecting the themes of "art and money" and the "art of money
