The title of the exhibition dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Department of Technological Research reflects the essence of its work: to study what, how, when and by whom certain works were created. The exposition gives an idea of what results such research methods as microscopy, radiography, study in the infrared and ultraviolet regions of the spectrum, X-ray fluorescence analysis can bring.

The Biennale of Historical and Archival Photography once again presents inaccessible photo collections of regional museums. The exhibition will show 144 photographs from museums in Voronezh, Ivangorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Rybinsk, Ryazan, Simferopol, Omsk, Pskov, Uglich, Yakutsk. The exposition is structured as a consistent story about the cultural, everyday and political life of Russia in the 1870s - 1930s.

Only 330 of the most interesting exhibits from the restoration point of view will be presented at the exhibition. These are paintings, icons and graphic works, objects of decorative, applied and folk art and sculptures.
