Arkhip Kuindzhi: The Illusion of Light is a comprehensive exhibition dedicated to Arkhip Kuindzhi, one of the most brilliant and enigmatic artists in the history of Russian landscape painting. For the first time in many years in St Petersburg, the full scope of the artist’s genius will be presented on such a scale that visitors can trace the milestones of his artistic journey – from his earliest works to the most celebrated masterpieces from the collection of the Russian Museum, including Moonlit Night on the Dnieper, Lake Ladoga, Rainbow, and Night Pasture of Horses.
