About the exhibition
The large-scale exhibition Russian Traditions in the Benois Wing features an unprecedented number of works – more than 650 pieces from the collection of the Russian Museum. Masterpieces of painting, unique costumes, celebrated lace, and extremely rare samples of Kresttsy stitching and gold embroidery are presented within the context of Russian history from the 16th century to the early 21st century.
