About the exhibition
Designed by Andrei Voronikhin in 1791–1792, the Mineral Study of the Stroganov Palace is rightly considered a masterpiece of 18th-century Russian architecture. The hall was intended to house Count Alexander Stroganov’s extensive library and to display his mineral collection.
