The artworks by the well-known Austrian artist Manfred Hebenstreit will be presented in the Russian Museum for the first time. 35 works from different periods of artist’s life will be included in the structure of the exposition.
Hebenstreit is often called as the artist-traveler. He emphasizes a direct attitude of his painting to a journey round different regions that comes to life in his works. He confirms that he creates the artworks when he is not free from impressions. His artworks are the landscapes and depictions of nature of Toskana, Andalusia, California and many Asian countries. But he doesn’t describe topography and natural landscape forms. He turns to elementary powers of nature.
