Memo for people with limited mobility
Dear visitors!
We invite you to make yourself familiar with the information regarding the order in which the Mikhailovsky Palace provides access for immobile visitors and people with other disabilities, the features of providing our services and additional aid from the museum personnel.
Parking spots for visitors with disabilities are placed next to the entrance to the management of The State Russian Museum, on Injenerniy st., building 2-4. There are no lowered boarders on the path from the parking lot.
The visitor entrance is placed to the right from the central entrance to the palace. In front of the entrance you can find a nameplate with the contact number of the employee in charge of the institution: tel. +7 812 314 64 24
Entrance for visitors in wheelchairs is provided through the ramp, placed at the side of the central entrance. Please note that the ramp path is slightly difficult to manoeuvre due to the historical paving stone cladding.
Services in the museum are provided on the ground, 1st and 2nd floors. The exhibition on the 1st floor is available for wheelchair access and viewers with other immobilizing disabilities.

While visiting the Mikhailovsky Palace you have foldable chairs available for use. Stands with the foldable chairs are located on the right from the main staircase next to the souvenir shop as well as in the Glass Junction (from the main exhibit of the Mikhailovsky Palace to the Benois Wing).
We also offer free strollers for hire. You can request the strollers from the administration.
