The Life Scenes of the 19th Century exhibition demonstrates works of the Russian genre painting of the mid 19th — early 20th centuries from private collections in Moscow and St Petersburg. The exposition presents little known and rarely exhibited paintings by Vasily Pukirev, Konstantin and Vladimir Makovsky, Illarion Pryanishnikov, Leonid Solomatkin and other prominent masters of Russian fine arts.
